Operating principle of the sensor Door contact
Monitor sensitive rooms and IT racks with the magnetic contact sensor and be informed immediately if access is allowed / unauthorized. This sensor is equipped with an SNMP OID and is suitable for all networked Didactum monitoring systems. The connection is made via RJ 11 patch cable to a free sensor connection. The magnetic contact sensor is automatically recognized by the Ethernet based measuring and alarm system.
As soon as the magnetic contact is activated by opening the door, you will be notified by the monitoring system via email, SMS or SNMP Trap. If desired, an open alarm can also be triggered by connecting the siren with flashing light. Existing switch cabinets, network and server cabinets can also be retrofitted with this tried and tested door contact sensor.
