Mode of operation of the dual sensor Temperature / Humidity
The combined temperature and humidity sensor (rF) can be extended up to 300 meters and combines 2 sensors in one housing. Simply connect this temperature and humidity sensor to the CAN-Bus connection of the Ethernet based measuring and monitoring devices of the model series 100 III/ 500II/ 600/ 700. With the help of the auto-identification, this sensor is then automatically recognized by the monitoring device and displayed in the German-speaking WebGUI. Up to 8 of these combined sensors can be connected to each other via RJ12 patch cables.
The total length of the CAN cabling can be up to 305 meters. The dual sensor is equipped with modern microchip technology and enables precise temperature and humidity measurement in ranges between -40°C to max. 85°C Celsius and 0 to 95% relative humidity (rF). In case of deviations of the required temperature and humidity values, you will receive a reliable notification in the form of e-mail, SMS or SNMP traps from the networked measuring and monitoring devices.
In addition, the SNMP-capable dual sensor temperature and humidity is equipped with an SNMP OID and enables the integration of the measured values into measurement data tools, DCIM software or network monitoring systems. MIB files and Nagios plugins are included in the scope of delivery of all Ethernet supported Didactum monitoring devices.
Humidity and Temperature Sensor
This sensor is specifically designed for the measurement of two of the most critical environmental parameters within your infrastructure, temperature and relative humidity (RH). This combined sensor belongs to the group of Didactum`s CAN based sensors (Control Area Network). This dual temperature and humidity sensor is compatible with all Didactum remote monitoring systems and PDU `s. This combined temperature / humidity sensor is easily setup after connecting it to one of the 2 CAN-Bus ports on your Didactum monitoring systems 500/ 500 DC/ 600.
