AKCP 5 Input Dry Contact Cable for sensorProbe2DC (SP2DC)
Dry contact sensors are user definable and can be used to detect many different inputs such as UPS status, security systems, air conditioning status. Here you see the compatitibilty list of AKCP intelligent sensors.
The dry-contact ports of the sensorProbe2DC (SP2DC) can be used to monitor any dry-contact inputs, just like the normal autosense dry-contact ports, but keep in mind that these ports can only be set to operate in the input mode.
Monitor up to 10 dry contacts with the SP2DC
By connecting an additional sensor, you can remotely monitor up to 10 potential free inputs with a single sensorProbe2DC. Please note that the sensorProbe2DC can monitor only input contacts / input signals related to the floating contact with 5 inputs. If you want to switch contacts, so please use the sensor potential free contact.
Compatibility
The sensor floating contact with 5 inputs is exclusively compatible with the sensorProbe2DC. Unless you have a sensorProbe2 monitoring device already in use, so you can unlock by upgrading AK-DCUPGS2 to sensorProbe2DC version.
The AKCP sensorProbe2DC is equipped with this feature at the factory.
AKCP AutoSense functionality / Alarm via Disconnect function
The Dry Contact Inputs Sensor / floating contact with 5 inputs of AKCP has an Auto Sense function. Thus this sensor is automatically identified by the sensorProbe2DC.
If the connection to AKCP controller etc. through manipulation be interrupted, so you and your colleagues informed by the Disconnect feature.
AKCP 5 Dry Contact Inputs
These dry-contact ports can be used to monitor any dry-contact inputs, just like the normal autosense dry-contact ports, but, these ports can only be set to operate in the input mode.These additional sensors are labeled as ports 3 to 12.
