The sensorProbe8-X20 is the next generation dry contact device from AKCP.

The SP8-X20 is based on AKCPs sensorProbe technology with an advanced 20 dry contact inputs. It comes in a 1 U rackmount box.

The SP8-X20 gives you complete of your enterprise infrastructure security.

Reliable remote-monitoring of environmental factors in data center

The sensorProbe8-X20 (SP8-X20) has 8 RJ-45 ports to attach AKCP`s intelligent sensors. So you can monitor critical environmental factors such as temperature or humidity in the datacenter and server room. Protect your mission critical servers from leakage of air conditioning system, defective UPS batteries, fire or unauthorized access.

Use the airFlow sensor to detect failures of your ventilation systems in server room. A detailed overview of the available SNMP-based sensors can be found here. The installation of AKCP`s intelligent sensors to the sensorProbe8-X20 is child's play: The AKCP Sensor will be identified automatically by sensorProbe8-X20.

Just enter only the warning values / thresholds in the web interface of sensorProbe8-X20. Optionally, you can query directly the measured values of connected sensors via snmpget over your network.

Immediate alert when security status in your critical room changes

You determine how you will be alarmed when the security of your critical infrastructures is endangered: Get notifications from the sensorProbe8-X20 security monitoring appliance via eMail, via SMS (Email to SMS Gateway or SMS server needed) or via SNMP traps to your Network Management System. An audio-visual alerting via AKCP siren is also supported.

The sensorProbe8-X20`s integrated database will collect all occurring events, including date and time. So you see what`s happened in your mission critical rooms.

20 additional dry-contact inputs for IP-based monitoring

AKCP`s sensorProbe8-X20 (AK-SP8-X20) features 8 sensorPorts plus additional 20 inputs for dry contacts. You can attach 2-pole dry contact cables to sensorProbe8-X20 to get instant notification of fault indicators of production plants, power plants, telecommunications systems, access systems, fire protection systems, UPS systems, air conditioners, door contacts, and much more.

The sensorProbe8-X20 monitor them over your network around the clock. Alerts of dry contacts will be immediately send from the sensorProbe8 X20 via SNMP trap, SMS (via E-mail to SMS Gateway) or via email up to 6 different recipients. Existing security technology, such as alarms-systems, glass break detectors, gas detectors, shock sensors, door contacts, could be easily integrated into sensorprobe8-X20`s security architecture, if they are equipped with dry contacts. Your existing investments in the building services / security technology are protected.

If you need more than 20 dry contacts, our sensorProbe8-X60 IP alarm server with 60 alarm contacts would be the right choice for you.

Monitoring

Connect up to 20 dry contacts to the AKCP sensorProbe8-X20. In case of malfunction of UPS system, air conditioning, telecommunications equipment you get an immediate alert in form of an e-mail alert, SMS alert (via e-mail to SMS gateway), or SNMP trap to your alarm monitoring system or NMS.

This allows you to act even faster in case of breakdown of your important assets.
