AKCess Pro`s innovative sensorProbe2 PoE Rack Monitoring System is a completely embedded host with a proprietary Linux OS, which includes TCP/IP stack, integrated web-server and full Email and SNMP functionalities. The sensorProbe2 PoE is a culmination of 30 years experience of manufacturer AKCess Pro in developing SNMP-based environmental and security monitoring solutions. Based on the famous sensorProbe2, the new sensorProbe2 PoE is ready to run out of the box. It`s designed to run for years non-stop.

The sensorProbe2 PoE supports Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3 af standard and offers the user a flexible installation in even difficult areas. It's a standalone Rack Monitoring Device and requires no additional PC hardware or software.

The sensorProbe2-PoE supports a wide range of AKCess Pro`s SNMP-enabled intelligent sensors. Just connect the SNMP-enabled temperature sensor to securityProbe2-PoE you have a Web-based / Ethernet-based thermometer.
 

AKCess Pro's sensorProbe2-PoE monitors the environmental variations of your mission-critical infrastructure such as server room or production area and notifies you through Email-Alert, SMS-Alert (via 3rd Party Gateway) or SNMP Alerts in your Network Management System (NMS). sensorProbe2-PoE is the right solution to prevent disaster.

Network Management Integration

AKCess Pro's AKCP sensorProbe2 PoE has been tightly integrated with Network Management Systems like OpenNMS, Nagios, HP Openview, CA TNG Unicenter, CA Spectrum, EMC Smarts, IBM Tivoli and WhatsUp Gold. SNMP MIB and SNMP utilities are included on CD. Please ask AKCP-distributor Didactum Ltd. for addtional plugins for your Network Management System.

The ropeWater Sensor features a customizable length rope that detects any water contact along its entire length.   The AKCP Airflow sensor is placed in the path of the air stream, where you can measure the status and the amount of the flowing air.   The AKCP passive infrared motion detector is designed to detect presence of movement and it is compatible with the sensorProbe2, sensorProbe8 and securityProbe monitoring devices.   The Dry Contact sensor from AKCP is a simple connection to burglar alarms, fire alarms or any application that requires monitoring by the sensorProbe or securityProbe remote monitoring appliances.   The AKCP AC voltage detector indicates the presence or absence of line voltage.   The AKCP Digital Voltmeter gives the user the full range of functionality including SNMP integration, email and SNMP traps upon settable limits and user defined thresholds.

The ACKP Sensor Controlled Relay enables the user remote actuation of electrical devices over the web.   The AKCP 4-20 mAmp signal converter is used for integration of the AKCP sensorProbe2, AKCP sensorProbe8 and AKCP securityProbe remote security devices with a 4-20 mAmp transmitter.   The combined AKCP strobe light and siren can add eye-catching audio visual alarms to the sensorProbe2/8 or securityProbe.   The AKCP sensorProbe2, sensorProbe8 and securityProbe monitoring devices could be integrated with the Smoke detector.
