Compatible with all of the AKCess Pro range of Intelligent Sensors it provides a complete environmental, access control and security monitoring solution for up to 500 connected sensors.

The securityProbe 5E Standard has a Linux Operating System running an iMX25 CPU. An additional 2 Gigabytes SD card is installed to provide greater storage capacity.

The securityProbe 5E Standard also supports Modbus Master / Slave, Modbus RTU and Modbus over TCP / IP creating a unique, easy to configure Modbus to SNMP gateway.

The web-based interface is written in PHP allowing end-user changes such as language translation. The securityProbe 5E Standard has a battery backed time of day clock for accurate record keeping.

Networked Monitoring

It is TCP / IP compliant and runs lighttpd web server including https (SSL), Bash, Perl, Telnet, PHP, Email and Nagios.

The securityProbe 5E Standard has an easy-to-use web-based user interface for sensor configuration, data collection and extensive graphing. Complete SNMP functions such including SNMP v3 encryption are supported.

Up to 8 of AKCess Pro's Intelligent Sensors can be connected to the securityProbe 5E Standard. When plugged in, sensors automatically configure themselves and go 'online'. Nagios network monitoring

The powerful Open-Source Nagios Network monitoring system is preinstalled on the securityProbe-5ES and can be activated on with a simple mouse click. The purchase of additional hardware for Nagios NMS can therefore be omitted.

8 ports for SNMP-enabled Environmental Sensors

In the basic version, the securityProbe-5ES provides 8 ports for SNMP-enabled AKCP sensors such as sensor temperature, sensor temperature and humidity, water sensor, smoke detections sensor, motion detection sensors and many other more. Dry contacts / alarm switches can be remotely monitored over your network by the use the new IO-Digital8 Adapter (AC-IODC8).

Thanks to AKCP`s AutoSense feature, the sensor will be automatically identified - you only have to enter the required warning states and alarm species in securityProbe`s 5E intuitive web interface. One Dual Temperature & Humidity Sensor is included, so you start your surveillance immediately.

Via Cat5 cable, you can extend this sensor, even up to 300 meters. So you are flexible with the sensor installation.

Using the E-sensor8 expansion module

On it`s front panel, the new securityProbe-5ES has 4 ports for optional expansion modules. So you can increase with the new e-sensor8 expansion module (E-sensor8) the number of attached remote-monitoring sensors.

The extension module could be disposed with CAT5 cable up to 300 meters, so that further server rooms could be integrated in the around-the-clock security surveillance of the securityProbe 5ES.

Each individual e-Sensor8 expansion module can be chained together, so that even large-scale infrastructures are protected against physical threats (heat, fire, water).

Here you can connect up to 16 dry contacts for network-enabled remote monitoring with securityProbe-5E Standard, including extensive alarm types.

The securityProbe-5E-E Standard E-opto16 expansion module can also be extended up to 300 meters.

Sensor Graphing

The securityProbe 5E Standard integrates and displays graphs of all sensor data in its web-based user interface. The individual graph (day, week, month and year) for each sensor type can be customized, simply by modifying the script template used to generate a particular graph.

RRD tool is used to build an embedded database of sensor data. This data can be accessed from the web interface, or downloaded to a remote PC. MRTG can be used to generate real-time graphs of sensor data on a remote website.

Up to 8 of AKCess Pro's Intelligent Sensors can be connected to the securityProbe 5E Standard. When plugged in, the sensor automatically configures itself and goes online. Using the either the E-sensor 8, or the E-opto 16 expansion modules, up to 500 sensors can be connected to a single unit. Our easy-to-use web based interface allows you to setup the securityProbe 5E Standard within minutes.

When online, the sensors use their 4 levels of threshold checking and report any status change. Notifications and alarms can be dependent on the states of multiple sensors, and can be configured to escalate in severity over time. The notification system can alert you of a problem via email, SMS messages and telephone calls, (additional hardware required), or send a message to any commercial network monitoring system using SNMP traps.

The securityProbe 5E Standard can automatically switch a relay on or off, wake-up or shutdown a remote server, send pictures and data via FTP, send a FAX, run your custom script and many more versatile functions. The securityProbe 5E Standard can automatically push out the complete status of the unit and sensors via the Heartbeat Message feature. This can be setup to be sent through e-mail, SMS or SNMP traps. A HTTP get script can also be chosen, allowing the data to be pushed to web servers.

False Message Filter

In order to prevent false alarms, the securityProbe 5E Standard allows extensive filtering of events. You can limit events based on the time of day or the day of the week. You can also limit the number of alerts per hour, so that you are not swamped with many messages. This is especially important with the sensor like the motion detector where you may want to process an event only when the business premises are closed.

Automatic shutdown of server systems for security threats

The securityProbe-5ES supports you in your operational disaster plans. When entering UPS power, the securityProbe-5ES could initiate a shutdown of existing Linux servers. Windows server systems are also supported.

Mapping Module for display of alarms

The integrated alarm map of securityProbe5ES allows the integration of building plans / blueprints in the 24x7 security monitoring. The exact location of the installed sensors can be integrated into the building plan.

Using the alarm map to determine the origin of the alarm message.

Practical Example: An installed smoke detector triggered an alarm. A simple tap inside the alarm map will show you the location of the smoke detector.

Integration of securityProbe-5ES in Network Management Systems

The securityProbe-5ES is SNMP v1, SNMPv2c, and SNMP v3 compatible.

So the securityProbe Alarm Server could be integrated in network management solutions such as HP Openview, CA Unicenter TNG, IBM Tivoli, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, OpenNMS. SNMP MIB files and utilities for NMS integration are included.

This water detector is designed and manufactured by AKCP.
         
The ropeWater Sensor features a customizable length rope that detects any water contact along its entire length.   The AKCP Airflow sensor is placed in the path of the air stream, where you can measure the status and the amount of the flowing air.   The AKCP passive infrared motion detector is designed to detect presence of movement and it is compatible with the sensorProbe2, sensorProbe8 and securityProbe monitoring devices.   The Dry Contact sensor from AKCP is a simple connection to burglar alarms, fire alarms or any application that requires monitoring by the sensorProbe or securityProbe remote monitoring appliances.   The AKCP AC voltage detector indicates the presence or absence of line voltage.   The AKCP Digital Voltmeter gives the user the full range of functionality including SNMP integration, email and SNMP traps upon settable limits and user defined thresholds.
         
The ACKP Sensor Controlled Relay enables the user remote actuation of electrical devices over the web.   The AKCP 4-20 mAmp signal converter is used for integration of the AKCP sensorProbe2, AKCP sensorProbe8 and AKCP securityProbe remote security devices with a 4-20 mAmp transmitter.   The combined AKCP strobe light and siren can add eye-catching audio visual alarms to the sensorProbe2/8 or securityProbe.   The AKCP sensorProbe2, sensorProbe8 and securityProbe monitoring devices could be integrated with the Smoke detector.   AKCP`s thermocouple sensor is especially designed for measuring temperatures in dangerous or harsh environments in heavy industries such as petrochemical and metal processing. Other uses for this AKCP Thermocouple sensor apart from manufacturing and industrial purposes including cryogenics, superconductor research & development and of course scientific research.   Remote power monitoring capabilities eliminate the need for manual power audits as well as provide alerts to potential power problems. AKCP`s latest 1- or 3-phase four wire Power Monitor Sensor (PMS220V / PMS110V) is designed to be used with the ip-enabled AKCP securityProbe remote monitoring appliances.
         
The 8 Port Sensor Relay from AKCP is a multiport relay for advanced process control. This 8 Port Sensor Relay could be easily controlled by the wide range of AKCP's intelligent sensors. The 8-Port Sensor Relay could provide automatic responses to sensor status changes. Dry contacts are used to signal interference or outages. Connect the dry contacts of UPS systems, air conditioning, fire alarm systems, door locking systems as well as telecommunication equipment and much more the E-opto16 expansion module for securityProbe-5E security appliance to receive a network-based surveillance of dry contacts and switches.   In the basic version, the new securityProbe5E provides eight RJ45 ports for AKCP environmental sensors. Especially customers with large data centers / facilities will need a significantly higher number of sensors for IT security monitoring. Here you can attach the E-sensor8 expansion unit, which is simply attach to the the expansion ports on the securityProbe-5E via CAT-5 cable. If the 4 free expansion slots have already been assigned, the individual expansion units can be chained with each other.   The unit has a single RJ45 connector at one end but the 8 x 2 pin dry contact connectors are replaced by two RJ45 connectors, each compatible with 4 dry contacts.   The IO-Digital8 Adapter (IODC8) is connected to one of the RJ-45 sensor ports of the securityProbe-5E and displayed in the web interface.
