AKCP temperature sensor - accurate temperature measurement

The SNMP-enabled temperature sensors from AKCP are equipped with modern microprocessor technology, and thus achieve a very precise temperature measurement. Generally, you do not need to calibrate the temperature sensors from AKCP before starting. Also a possible subsequent recalibration or maintenance of this sensor is not necessary.

The renewed AKCP AK-TMP00 temperature sensor is by CAT-5 cables up to 300 meters deductible and allows a highly flexible sensor assembly in the monitored areas and infrastructures.

Autosense function:

The sensorProbe and securityProbe devices auto detect the presence of the temperature sensor once plugged into the RJ-45 port. A built in graph option is included on all sensorProbes for graphing temperature variations over a period of time. Each temperature sensor has its own SNMP OID so that the data can be collected over network and graphed using external application like Nagios. The temperature sensor can be read using included SNMP utilities to allow graphing and data logging at 0.5°C resolution. Here you find the compatitibilty list of AKCP intelligent sensors.

Transmission of temperature readings to an NMS:


The temperature sensor has its own OID, so that the recorded temperature values and also to network management systems (NMS) such as Nagios or WhatsUp Gold can be forwarded. An overview of the hardware supported by the AKCP monitoring network monitoring solutions, you can see here.

		Here you see the representation of the temperature gradient in the web interface of sensorProbe2 alarm server. The temperature data can be exported, of course. The manual in many businesses / companies still frequently encountered temperature control can be omitted, as it automatically alerted when the temperature deviations, the employees responsible.

		The monitoring of the current indoor temperature may, on request, in network management solutions such as WhatsUp Gold can be integrated.
