AKCP intelligent sensors

AKCP Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) Camera Interface

With the AKCP Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera Interface you could connect up to 4 cameras with PTZ-function to the securityProbe devices. The PTZ cameras should have a RS485 interface. Once connected, the cameras could be configured via the web interface of the securityProbe. You can view live streaming video, move the cameras, and set up software motion detection rules to generate alarms.

The interface cable connects an RJ45 port on the securityProbe to a RS485 bus; up to four PTZ cameras can then be connected to this bus. When a camera is connected to the RS485 bus, the securityProbe will auto detect the camera, and it will display the output of the device on the web interface.

Specifications & Features:

- Sensor type - PTZ camera and software motion detection
- Measurement type - video signal, software motion detection
- Power source: powered by the securityProbe. No additional power needed
- Communications cable - RJ45 jack to RS485 bus interface using UTP Cat 5 wire
- securityProbe auto detects the presence of cameras
- Measurement rate - up to 15 frames per second per camera.
- Full autosense including disconnect alarm
- sensorProbe8 Linux and cameraProbe are also supported
