AKCP Air Flow Sensor - 7x24 control of air flow

		A possible lack of air-cooling can jeopardize the availability of heat-sensitive server and IT systems. The Air Flow Sensor of our partner AKCP Inc serves the around-the-clock monitoring of airstream of ventilation systems and air conditioners.

A possible malfunction or failure of the ventilation / air circulation system is immediately detected by the Air Flow sensor and will be reported by sensorProbe or securityProbe monitoring devices to the appropriate security personnel.

		The airflow in the data center and server room should be controlled to avoid heat damage to your IT infrastructure. Especially between the server cabinets you may find hotspots due to lack of air circulation. Didactum(R) recommends the installation of temperature sensors as well as air flow sensors to avoid any overheating of your critical server systems. The AirFlow Sensor AFS00 can be flexibly positioned in server room . The team of Didactum® also recommends an additional installation of the AKCP airflow sensor in the floor of the computer center, since dust and wiring harnesses are also negatively affect the air circulation. Ideally, a temperature sensor and a water leak detector should also be installed.
