My AKCP temperature sensor measures alert condition in my server cabinet. The sensorProbe8 rack monitoring device automatically starts to send e-mail alerts that server rack is overheated. How could I reduce the number and rate of E-mail alerts?

Of course you can limit the number of e-Mail alerts. Simply use the "Minimum time between each Trap/Email" feature in sensorProbe8 webinterface. Simply click on Sensor Status Filters button.

Sensor Status Filter Button will limit the number of SNMP traps and the number e-mails alerts of your sensorProbe8 (LINK). Another way to limit the number of e-Mail alerts is to click of "Resend Intervals (secs)" and "Maximum Times to Resend".
