How I can install the securityProbe-5E in my Rack with a double rackmount kit?

The double rack mount kit has been designed to fit two 7.5? units side by side in a standard 1U rack space.

Rubber Feet method

You will notice that eight holes can be seen on the bottom of the tray, these line up with the rubber feet found on the bottom of the AKCP metal units. Follow the directions below to mount your unit (Note, if you have the units in a plastic box then skip this step and go straight to the screw mount method):

Once the units are secure you can the place the rack mount kit in your server rack. Screw the mount kit using the holes marked below:

Screw Mount Method Follow the directions below to secure your unit using screws rather than the rubber feet. The first step is to remove the rubber feet found on the bottom of the AKCP monitoring modules:

Once this is done place your units inside the rack, make sure that the holes on the side of the module line up with the holes on the side of the rack mount:

You can now secure the equipment by inserting the provided screws and screwing into place. Once the units are secure you can the place the rack mount kit in your server rack. Screw the mount kit using the holes marked below:
