How I can install the securityProbe-5E in my Rack with a split 1U rack mount kit?

The split 1U rack mount kit has been designed to allow you to mount your securityProbe, sensorProbe8 or expansion modules together with sensors, or a sensorProbe2 side by side, thus saving space in your rack.

First we will focus on attaching a securityProbe unit to the rack mount, follow the step below:

Once you have fitted the module in place you are ready to secure the unit to the mounting bracket, make sure the mounting holes line up. This is shown below:

Once the holes are lined up correctly you can screw the unit in place using the screws provided. To mount the sensors please refer to the instructions for the DIN rail kit previously explained.
